The mission of Books and Brunch is to celebrate history and culture, while learning more about who we are as a people through books. Jasmine and Samiayah, Birmingham natives, plan to bring exposure to books written by Black authors (specifically Black women).

On a single Saturday of each month, these ladies choose to have brunch at different restaurants in Birmingham, Alabama as they discuss the Book of the Month.
